Miley's New Hair, Yay or Nay?

As alot of us know, Miley Cyrus recently got a bold new hair cut.

She went from beautiful light brown locks,

To a short, platinum pixie-style cut. At first we we very suprised at this choice, but we must admit it
grown on us, Miley is not afraid to be herself and we admire that. What do you guys think?

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: Hair Care

The Good:

This anti-frizz serum by Garnier Fructis (Sleek and Shine) really makes your hair glossy and frizz free! It doesn't make your hair look or feel greasy, a new fav! (target.com $4.74)

Tresemme Heat Protectant is amazing! Its spray formula makes it incredibly light on your hair, so it won't look greasy.

The Bad:

Aussie Instant Freeze Hairspray. This stuff really works! But almost too well. After applying like the bottle recommended, our hair was sticky and extremely stiff!

Redken Thermal Heat Protectant Serum This works fine as a heat protectant, put the fact that it is a serum makes it somewhat oily on your hair.

The Ugly:

Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Spray In lue of getting the Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray, we decided for this much, much cheaper option. This left our hair sticky and stiff, and not all that wavey. This was a total miss for us!

Get the Runway Look: Deep Side Part

This year on the runway, many of the models sported a gorgeous deep side part! All you need is to lightly wave your hair, by wrapping it around a curling wand, then tease the top. This will give your hair texture and volume. Then, take a tail comb, and glide it through your hair around the arch of your eyebrow. This will give you that ultra chic look that was so popular on the runway!

Product Review: Neutrogena Triple Mositure Deep Recovery Hair Mask

This is by far the best drugstore hair mask! As we all know, using heat products can damage your locks, so it is good to have a go-to hair mask to revive your dry hair! In our opinion, this is the one. The fragrance is fresh and light, and the texture of the product is rich and thick. This is a miracle in a jar!
After shampooing your hair, apply a quarter to two quarter amount of the mask into your hair, being sure to focus on the ends where the hair is most damaged. Wait 5 minutes, then rinse out! This product is easy to use, afordable (We bought ours for $8), and you see results!
